Two African countries stood a chance...and then there was one

It was a VERY tough match - the only match to make it to a penalty shoot-out so far in the tournament. Nigeria's Flamingoes made their exit from the U-17 Women's World Cup after a 3:5 loss to France.

In the other quarter, though Japan had more possession of the game, the Black Maidens of Ghana made it to the semifinals after their 1:0 victory, thanks to Sherifatu Sumaila's goal in the 53rd minute.

Ghana will now face Nigeria's conquerors, France. Does anyone see revenge in sight?

    last Friday our maidens of Ghana makes us proud and they are names will written for ever in the Ghana history books as a players and by they are name will stayed in our heart,may the lord give them strength for more glory ahead of them.....
